SAFEHouse is a sliding-scale private-pay only counseling service and is also supported by generous gifts from churches, private citizens, and the local community. |
The sliding scale is based on an honorary system. A client will pay what
they can afford with the bottom of the sliding scale as a minimum.
You can pay for your session fee conveniently online through our secure pay site. You will receive and email, as will our office, which will be your confirmation of payment. This payment will show as a tax-deductible gift through our donation page.

All fees must be paid in advance before the beginning of
each session. |

Clients who are on a grant from a local church, ministry, or other organization are automatically under **Grant fee. $10/$60 – Client pays $10, organizational grant is $60 as an example. |
|
|
Clients will still pay a co-payment even with a grant as studies show that when clients pay for some aspect of their therapy they take ownership of their therapy and increase their likelihood of recovery. |
|
|
Anything paid over the maximum amount will be considered a tax-deductable gift to Church In Action Ministries. Make a donation or pay for your session here. |

Fees are billed by the first hour. After the first hour it is billed by the half hour. |
|

The in-office counseling fee is based on a sliding scale from $55.00 per 50 minute session to $95.00 per session. You pay what you can afford per session. |

On-site services are subject to an additional $35.00 transportation fee. |
|
|
Group rates, public speaking, and classroom presentations have different rates that also include transportation and other per diem expenses. Email for rates on special engagments. |

All fees must be paid before the session in the form of cash, money order, cashier’s check, or prior approved ministry bank check, or credit cards. Make a donation or pay for your session here. |

If proper notice is not given for cancellation, prior payments are forfeit and if prior payment is not made then the client will be billed for that missed appointment. |

Once an advance payment is made, it is up to the client to schedule a session. |

Advance payments for future sessions will not be refunded if the client does not request any unused portion to be returned. |
|
|
The office will return any requested refunds within 30 days of request, if applicable. |
|
|
The client must schedule and use their advance sessions in a reasonable time limit of one year from the day of the payment for advanced sessions. Afterward the one year anniversary of the payment all prepaid sessions will expire and the funds will be considered a donation. |

|
There is a sliding scale fee based on need, but is limited to current schedules and the commitment level of those already being serviced. |
|
|
SAFEHouse has the right to raise rates at any time. |
|
|
Clients and Church In Action Ministries/SAFEHouse can withdraw from treatment at any time without reason and can refuse to serve, or will refer clients to other clinicians in the air if it is deemed necessary. |
|
|
By emailing or calling to schedule a session, clients are in aggreement with the above conditions. |
